Terrence Shorty holds the Wolf as his family crest, and he is the nephew of established Northern Tutchone artist Richard Shorty. While he was born in the Yukon, Terrence currently resides in Vancouver, BC, and paints in his cultural style. He has learned a great deal about Tlingit design and composition through books, but he also trained under artist Calvin Moreburke. Terrence began painting in 2005.
