Robert "Chip" Tait works primarily in wood, gold, and silver. In 1979, he completed the Indian Arts and Crafts Carving and Design Course in Vancouver, BC, and apprenticed with his brother, Norman Tait. Robert's carved poles and canoes can be seen at the Native Education College and Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC, and as far away as the Field Museum in Chicago, IL.
