Andrew Rosang began carving in 1971 with Haida artist Gordon Cross. He was well-known for his jewellery, but he also carved a great deal of wood. Andrew was very active in his community, and created items like button blankets for events and ceremonies. Throughout his life, Andrew worked as a fisherman and guide on Haida Gwaii. Andrew passed away on May 7, 2007.
