Agnes graduated from Emily Carr University in 2014 and apprenticed under First Nations artists Alano Edzerza, Luke Parnell, and Beau Dick during this time. She comes from an artistic family and is related to jewelers Norm Seaweed, Ann Seaweed, Alfred Seaweed, and Patty Seaweed. After university, she trained under her family members to learn engraving techniques and formline design. In 2019, Agnes was artist-in-residence at Skwachays Lodge in Vancouver. In 2022, Agnes’ jewellery was selected by designer Rebecca Baker-Grenier for her collection in Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week. Agnes currently works out of her studio in the Comox Valley.
