Alfred is from the T'saahl Laanaas Eagle Clan of Masset. He comes from a long line of traditional Haida artists on both sides of his family. His father is argillite carver Alfred Davidson III. He creates traditional Haida formline art works in multimedia such as painting, wood carving, metal engraving, and regalia making. Between 2012-2014, Alfred apprenticed under well-known Haida artist Lyle Campbell. He also spent some time working under celebrated artist Robert Davidson. Alfred attended the Freda Diesing School of Northwest Coast Art in 2015-2016.
