"The ancient story of Raven Releasing the Sun is the essence of cycles, as all cycles are based on the sun. The hours, the days, the seasons, and the years are all based on the rotation of (the earth around) the sun. All societies have recorded the passing of time, that is the cycles of life, by tracking the orbit of the sun. So the ancient story depicted on my gold pendant, symbolizes foundational element of cycles: the sun."  – David Neel
