The Flicker is a type of bird in the woodpecker family. The Northern Flicker can be found year-round along the Northwest Coast of Canada. It has brown (sometimes copper-coloured) feathers, with black bars along the back and wings. It's tail is dark on top, with a characteristically white rump, often seen when in flight.
