"The northwest coast has many mountain sides that are stripped and slashed. This has been an industry to benefit humans but it rarely benefits other creatures. Fireweed often grows back first after an area is stripped of its forest. It is a medicine that also provides weaving materials, fireweed will even grow where other plants have been tampered with. The colours of the fireweed plant are vibrant and dance in the early fall winds, which helps to spread its fluffy seeds for the next seasons growth. The winner of this box is welcome to spread these seeds in a place that may need new growth."
