This print depicts a Raven (longer beak) and Eagle (hooked beak) sharing a single eye. Claude belonged to the Raven clan and his wife belonged to the Eagle clan. Their children (artists Reg and Robert), while members of the Eagle clan, come from a meeting of the two crests.
