This unconventional early print from artist Reg Davidson depicts a crying Bear. The face of a second Bear (this one with a labret ring) fills the teardrop. Bears are closely associated with humans, and are seen to have a deep knowledge of stories and oral histories. They are always treated as highly respected guests when they make visits to towns or homes.
