Robin Rorick comes from a long line of accomplished Haida artists. He is the son of celebrated spruce root weaver Isabel Rorick. His maternal great-great-grandparents were Charles and Isabelle Edenshaw, his great-grandparents were Robert and Florence Davidson, his paternal great-grandmother was Selina Peratrovich, and his grandparents are Victor and Primrose Adams. Robin has apprenticed under celebrated Haida artist Ben Davidson, and he has also attended a series of design workshops with renowned Haida artist Robert Davidson. Thus far, Robin has focused on wood carving and printmaking, but he intends to expand his skill set in the future.
