Keith Kerrigan belongs to the Yaghulaanaas clan of the Haida Nation, and his main crest is Raven. He was first taught Haida design by his uncle, late Haida carver Claude Davidson, in 1980. From then on, he worked primarily in argillite until 1988, when he received guidance from his cousins, acclaimed Haida artists Reg and Robert Davidson. He apprenticed with Robert in White Rock, BC, from 2003-2005. Today, he works mostly in silver and gold. Keith's work can be found in collections in Canada, the United States, Japan, New Zealand, England, and Germany.
