Floyd Brown began his career 25 years ago, learning and drawing Haida design. He works in wood, silver, and print media. Floyd is primarily inspired by the people and environment around him, and he prefers to work in a contemporary, innovative style. In 2009, Floyd graduated from the Northwest Coast Jewellery Arts program at Vancouver's Native Education College under established Haida/Kwakwaka'wakw artist Dan Wallace.
