Daryl Francis is primarily a wood carver who works in the Salish style. He originally trained with Salish artists Stan Greene and George Pennier, who are both known for their attention to detail and imaginative creations. Daryl does not create a large number of pieces for the market as he spends a great deal of time on each piece.
