Burton Amos (Ghe-al-agum) has worked with fellow artists Lyle Wilson (Kwakwaka'wakw/Haisla), Philip Gray (Tsimshian/Cree), and Mike Dangeli (Nisga'a/Tlingit/Tsimshian). Aside from carving, Burton has been involved in writing, poetry, photography, and documentaries; all of these creative venues are dependent with his search for his cultural heritage. He is currently completing courses in filmmaking in Vancouver.
