Victoria apprenticed with her father Charles Harper in jewellery and also received training from Kwakwaka'wakw artist, Patrick Seaweed. She has been carving since 2000 and primarily works in silver and gold. She creates many sterling silver works with gold overlay. Victoria holds Kulus, or Baby Thunderbird, as her family crest.
